In the fight against abuse, the Diocese of Gozo has made it obligatory for the clergy and laypeople who are involved in some way or another in the formation of children and youths to attend a course in safeguarding of minors. The seminarians who are currently studying at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Gozo have just successfully completed the course addressed by Fr Joseph Farrugia. The course besides being informative and interesting, it also offered practical scenarios in which they actively took part in the form of role-plays and group discussions.
